OFFICE OF RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND COMMERCIALIZATION
Introduction
In pursuit of the initiative taken by the Higher Education Commission for strengthening research and the process of knowledge creation, CECOS University has established an Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at the CECOS Industrial Liaison Center (CILC), Industrial Estate, Hayatabad, Peshawar. The ORIC sub-office is also functional at the main campus, Phase-6, Hayatabad, Peshawar. The ORIC is focused on building a strong commitment toward innovation and commercialization of research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Main Purpose
The main purpose of establishing ORIC is to provide strategic and operational support to the University’s research activities/program for strengthening University-Industry relationships and promoting entrepreneurship, technology-transfer and commercialization activities that energize and support the local and national economy. The ORIC compromises of a skilled team of faculty and the administration members.
